ABOUT LORENA . . .

Born with Passion for the Performing Arts!

Lorena is a hispanic-multi-ethnic film/stage actress, voice over artist, acting coach, and writer, based in New York City.

Born and raised in Mexico City, Lorena is fully bilingual; she moved to the United States after graduating from Universidad Anahuac Mexico, and she adopted her new country and became a proud USA citizen.

Her artistic career backs to her childhood, time during which Lorena performed as an actor in several musicals, dramas, and danced jazz for over 10 years; eventually, life guided her into a career in marketing & advertising and the incredible experience of getting married and becoming a mom.

Her lifetime dream of becoming a professional actor stayed alive in her heart, so a few years ago, she made the decision to switch careers and took the leap of faith into the Entertainment Industry.

Ever since, Lorena has trained at Stella Adler Studio of Acting NYC, The Barrow Group, as well as countless acting workshops and classes.

Her years of multi-cultural life experiences allow her to give life to each character organically and with what’s most important to her… Authenticity.

When Lorena is not on set or stage, she can be found coaching young actors, as well as counseling their parents into getting started in the industry, as well as spending time writing stories, articles, social media, and what has now become her newest passion… Screenwriting.

For years, Lorena has been coaching two of her children who happen to share her passion for the performing arts. Her oldest daughter is now a proud NYU Tisch alumna, and her youngest son can often be seen either modeling, on commercials, as well as on tv, currently as a recurring guest-star in a Nickelodeon tv-series & film, as well as other cool projects coming soon.
